Modern and newly decorated room with exceptionally good views. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and the breakfast was incredibly nice. Favourable location, a few steps away from everywhere.

Newly remodelled room on the higher floors, best staff — everything was perfect. We walked everywhere, the location was amazing and beautiful, willing to help answer questions in his area.

Loved our neat and reasonably large rooms, plus the staff was affable! Very central location near to airport, shopping malls, smaller shops, places to eat as well as many restaurants, it was in a pretty quiet area. It was good to have soft drinks in the outdoor bar. Excellent services were available.

The hotel's cocktails were reported to be watered down, which can be considered a dishonest business practice.

The Monarch Hotel in Addis Ababa has a great location. The food served at the hotel was delicious. The standard double room may not have looked appealing in the photos, but it turned out to be comfortable. Bole district is definitely a worth visiting area. I had a wonderful experience at the Monarch Hotel and can't wait to go back.

The staff was excellent, from the reception to the chef who personally made me home cooked food upon request. The atmosphere at the LUSH bar was amazing, especially while watching a live football match. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the WiFi had excellent speed.
